What are the contraindications for using Liquid Dye with Keratin?

Here are some important considerations regarding the contraindications for using Liquid Dye with Keratin to ensure safe and optimal results:

  • Allergies, Skin Disorders, and Sensitivities: These may prevent or affect the outcome of the treatment. A patch test is mandatory for all new clients, especially those with a history of allergies to dye, tint, henna, PPD, or other colorants.
  • Pregnancy: Due to potential risks associated with PPD exposure, we advise against using the dye during pregnancy.
  • Alopecia: Treatment is not recommended for clients suffering from alopecia, as their hair may be more sensitive.
  • Recent Fake Tan Application: Clients who have recently applied fake tan should avoid the treatment.

Additional Considerations:

  • Botox or Fillers: It's best to have the brow treatment either before injections or to wait two weeks afterward.
  • Sunbed Use and Tanning: Avoid sunbeds and fake tanning prior to treatment. You can safely tan 48 hours after the treatment.
